Say Hello
What I'd love to hear
1
What you want me to write about. Honestly the most useful thing you can send me. Half of what's on this site exists because someone asked.
Where I got something wrong. If a post is unclear, out of date, or I've misread the evidence, please tell me. I'd rather fix it than be right.
What actually worked for you. Especially the unglamorous things.
One thing I can't do
2
I can't tell you what's going on with your skin or what you should use for it.
Not because I don't want to — because I'm a medical student, not your doctor, and skin genuinely has to be seen to be assessed. A description and a photo aren't enough, and guessing from a distance is how people end up treating the wrong thing for years. I did exactly that, and it cost me two of them.
So if something is persistent, painful, spreading or just wearing you down, please book someone who can look at it properly. That's not me brushing you off — it's the actual advice.
What I can do is write about the topic properly, so send it to me as a question and it might become a post.
Brands and PR
3
I'm open to hearing from brands, with a few things said upfront so we don't waste each other's time:
I only write about things I've looked into and used. No exceptions, and no pre-approval of what I'll say
Anything paid or gifted is labelled as such, clearly and at the top
I cover every price range. An expensive product doesn't get a pass, and a cheap one doesn't get dismissed
If the evidence behind a product is thin, I'll say so — including in a paid piece. If that's a problem, we're not a fit
If that still sounds good, I'd genuinely like to hear from you.
Get in touch
I read everything, and I answer as much as I can manage around medical school. If it takes me a week or two, that's why — not because your message got lost.
