Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the European Union or another jurisdiction that provides a statutory right of withdrawal, you may have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason, subject to the rules and exceptions described below.

For contracts concerning digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium, the 14-day withdrawal period generally begins on the day the contract is concluded.

of your decision to withdraw from the contract by means of a clear statement, for example by email or letter.

You do not have to give a reason for your withdrawal.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Immediate Delivery of Digital Content

Ask Rierie sells digital products, including downloadable PDF guides, which are intended to be made available immediately after successful payment.

During checkout, you may therefore be asked to expressly consent to the digital content being provided before the 14-day withdrawal period has expired and to acknowledge that, by giving this consent, you lose your statutory right of withdrawal once the provision of the digital content begins.

Where:

• you have expressly consented to performance beginning before the expiry of the withdrawal period;

• you have acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal once performance begins;

• Ask Rierie has begun providing the digital content; and

• you have been provided with the legally required confirmation,

your statutory right of withdrawal expires once performance begins, in accordance with applicable law.

This means that, where these requirements have been satisfied and your digital product has been made available to you, you will generally no longer be able to withdraw from the purchase simply because you have changed your mind.

If You Do Not Consent to Immediate Delivery

Where applicable law gives you a right of withdrawal and you do not provide the required consent and acknowledgement for immediate performance, your statutory withdrawal rights remain subject to the applicable legal requirements.

Ask Rierie’s checkout is designed for the immediate provision of purchased digital products. Where express consent to immediate delivery is required as part of the checkout process, you may need to provide that consent in order to receive the digital content immediately.

Effects of Withdrawal

If you validly withdraw from a contract before your right of withdrawal has expired, I will reimburse payments received from you in accordance with applicable law.

Unless otherwise required by law, reimbursement will be made using the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, and you will not incur fees from Ask Rierie as a result of the reimbursement.

Statutory Rights for Defective Digital Content

The rules concerning withdrawal are separate from your statutory rights if a digital product is defective, is not provided, materially differs from its description, or otherwise does not conform to the contract.

The loss or expiry of a right of withdrawal does not remove mandatory consumer rights relating to defective or non-conforming digital content.
